EDITORIAL GUIDELINES
The Journal of People and Worldview (JPW) is committed to maintaining high academic and ethical standards in the publication of scholarly research. These editorial guidelines outline the principles, processes, and expectations that govern manuscript handling, peer review, and publication decisions. They are intended to promote fairness, transparency, and academic integrity for authors, reviewers, and editors.
EDITORIAL POLICY AND SCOPE
JPW publishes original, scholarly research that engages critically with questions concerning people, culture, and worldview across disciplines. Submissions should demonstrate conceptual clarity, methodological soundness, and relevance to contemporary academic discourse. The journal welcomes both theoretical and empirically grounded studies that contribute meaningfully to knowledge and practice.
Manuscripts submitted to JPW must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors bear responsibility for ensuring that their work complies with academic standards and ethical research practices.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
JPW operates a structured peer review process to ensure academic rigor and fairness. All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess compliance with submission requirements and relevance to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts that pass this stage are sent to qualified peer reviewers with relevant subject expertise.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, clarity of argument, theoretical depth, methodological appropriateness, and scholarly contribution. Editorial decisions are informed by reviewers’ reports and may include acceptance, revision, or rejection.
AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Authors are responsible for submitting work that is original, accurate, and ethically produced. All sources must be properly cited, and data must be presented honestly and transparently. Any conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation must be disclosed.
Each listed author must have made a substantial contribution to the research and manuscript preparation. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office and for securing approval from all co-authors.
EDITORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Editors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are evaluated fairly and efficiently. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, relevance, and adherence to journal standards, without discrimination or bias.
Editors also have a duty to address ethical concerns, including plagiarism, duplicate submission, and research misconduct. Where necessary, appropriate corrective actions may be taken.

Editorial decisions at JPW are made independently and are guided solely by scholarly merit. The editorial board operates free from external influence, including financial, institutional, or personal interests.
REVIEWER RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviewers are expected to conduct evaluations objectively, confidentially, and within agreed timelines. Reviews should be constructive, respectful, and focused on improving the quality of the manuscript.
USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Authors may use artificial intelligence tools only in ways that support ethical scholarship. AI tools must not replace original intellectual work or critical analysis. Any significant use of AI must be disclosed.
PLAGIARISM AND MISCONDUCT
JPW does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct. Submissions may be screened, and violations may result in rejection or further action.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submissions do not infringe on copyright or intellectual property rights. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant JPW the right to publish the work upon acceptance.
