Abstract

The chronicles of Christian history bear witness to the profound impact of the Protestant Reformation, an epochal event characterized by its theological dynamism, fostering the emergence of the Protestant movement and the splintering of the Church. Within the purview of this discourse lies a compelling exploration of the salient question of how a Reformed perspective, or Reformed theology, wields influence over the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This paper embarked on a succinct journey through the bedrock theological tenets that underpinned the Reformation, endeavoring to discern their continued pertinence amidst the evolving technologies and technological advancements of the present day. The methodology adopted herein comprises a qualitative analysis of secondary sources, ensuring a robust foundation for the conjectures and insights presented. The paper concluded with suggestions and a call for roundtable discussion and dialogue on pertinent ethical considerations surrounding the Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially the place of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
